History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Juliana grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

This search led her directly into Crown-heir work with an outfit from a few towns over. Crown-heir work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
