Beneath her clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. She has a long brown ponytail with little hanging trinkets. Her eyes are gray and catlike.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Thiala was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When Thiala reached her early adolescence her Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She's also a talented Ruler, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: She was born in a small plains village. She found a children's book about a Halfling Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and seeks redemption

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She was raised in a plains tribe. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety; and she is terrified, and will act out of fear

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Carpenter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she desires power and/or immortality

History: Gifted from a young age, Raam studied abroad. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 11 years.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she has a crush on the local brewer

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Theirastra fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and nothing but the best is good enough for her

Personality: Oolah is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She works hard and plays hard.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Oolah was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Oolah's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
