History: Gildmak was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Shadow was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After months of barely getting by, Isabella managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Saphara was born on a far western plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Map Maker. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

History: Arha hails from a village terrorized by drow. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: She is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright pastel and brown, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 5'11" when asserting herself. Her beige fur is greasy and uncared for. This yellow eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Gimgen lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dwarves became a terror of the countryside. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His divine abilities were realized during a raid on his village. After a long history of fighting, Nicholas and his spouse have recently divorced.
