She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Bree was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Ghâm was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: He is a Chromatic Dragon in disguise. His childhood dream was to be a Unemployed, but he was a colossal failure. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
