History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). During his travels, Korfel and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Korfel discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Korfel fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
