History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Shifting grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Shipwright. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Ilanis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She's also a talented Healer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.
