History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Fallthra was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the west. A gifted student she started as a Jeweler, but she got bored and became a Barber. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
