History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. History: Theren was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside.
