History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cartwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

History: Cloud hails from a village terrorized by orcs. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and a deep hatred of drow

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.
