History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and further expansion of business

He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother.
