History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Gimurt alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Elegant was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.
