History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Barber hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now mingles about in high society.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He worked as a nervous Painter and found it very stressful. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Dyer.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing his hectic life and new dyer responsibilities is difficult

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Malquis and her spouse have recently divorced.
