History: Uzza lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

History: Dimble hails from a village terrorized by drow. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and wants to raise his children well

History: Chaedi was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She took after her mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her mother taught her to defend herself. Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered gnolls who tried to eat his hand. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it.
