Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a Detective soon after.

History: She was born into a rich family. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Kava will drive conversation. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: She was born in a small desert village. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Kava fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Norman was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Brewer. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Barber. He struck the Barber job and began his own company from there.

History: He was raised in a island tribe. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Suhnae was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the east; and wants to work out more often

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a brown cloak and cross-gartered tan stockings, and is pretty ugly. His head has been shaved. His amber eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
