History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Description: He is an average looking western male in his early mid-life. He dresses well, wearing brown shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. His golden hair is smooth and relatively long. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Aldous lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was taken from his home at a very young age. After a long history of fighting, Aldous and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A gifted student he started as a Weaver, but he got bored and became a Ploughman. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
