History: Zephan was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the west were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When Berrian reached his early adolescence his Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sword.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nija grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Half-Elven companion (her 'brother'). She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: Her divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Interpreter they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Mercenary, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born into a rich family. Reynard was born on a far southern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Stylist. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears silk and lounges about seductively. His red hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. He has red eyes and a green hat with a white feather.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Nirgel was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Doctor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. Baelitae enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Baelitae was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Spice Merchant born in the past three hundred years. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: She is a Doppelganger in disguise. A gifted student she started as a Baker, but she got bored and became a Spice Merchant. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
