History: He comes from a rich western family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Sage they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Spice Merchant, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Helen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and she's looking for her big break

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: He got into the Bounty Hunter business at a young age. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Dwarven artifacts is his passion; and expand his business

History: Paymon was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the south were limited. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
