History: Katherine was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. After coming to the age of reason, Katherine took it upon herself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Hoshû was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Hoshû's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and wants to work out more often
