Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He keeps his red hair in a flapper bob. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: His druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Theodoric fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Gifted from a young age, Ootah studied abroad. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Shoemaker for the past few years.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and retire the richest man in the north

History: Sindri hails from a village terrorized by drow. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and balancing her hectic life and new blacksmith responsibilities is difficult

History: Cloak hails from a village terrorized by giants. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and her religion dominates her actions

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
