History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is her passion

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Thorin reached his early adolescence his Dwarf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Gardener.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: Born to a Glassblower, her father struggled to pay the bills. Carlin was born on a far western desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Brewer. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and she loathes her own lifestyle

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She moved out west to avoid the crime she committed. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: She was born in the west. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He moved out north to avoid the crime he committed. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Odo fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
