History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Boddynock alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Carter and was forced into it by his family; and wants to raise his children well

History: Andry hails from a village terrorized by brigands. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Healer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has never given up on her dancing dream.
