History: Pennie was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Her necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Armorer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He's also a talented Ruler, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Katherine hails from a village terrorized by illithids. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her mother's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered illithids who tried to eat her hand. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants revenge against illithids; and someone believes her a fraud

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Now she works as a dancing tutor during her time off.

History: Callie lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Callie was born on a far western forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Bellfounder. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
