History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying west to reunite her family. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
