Description: He wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'9" when asserting himself. His hair is short and golden. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are hazel.
Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Varis is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Through the years after Varis was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Varis's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what she was had she not made sure her armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit she wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates her frame. She wears a top hat to cover her moderate length silver hair. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her blue eyes.
Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She is obsessed with her god.
History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She tends to her Mayor job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is wearing a long, tan cloak. His brown hair is braided into rings. His gray eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Cartwright business.
History: He is a Lamia in disguise. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.
History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
Motivation: To be a Layabout again; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.
History: Justin was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. With a patchy black beard and wild black hair. This amber eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.
History: Foxilon lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When Foxilon reached his early adolescence his Halfling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He tends to his Junk Dealer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: Valorean is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.
History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has never given up on his music dream.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he loathes his own lifestyle
