His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Bilbron was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She tends to her Marshal job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Purson grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Purson. After months of barely getting by, Purson managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.
