History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. After a long history of fighting, Sarah and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 15th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Farideh was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is her passion; and a strong sense of loyalty to gnomish people

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Jheri was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She now mingles about in high society.
