History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Kûga was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Kûga's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He is a Unemployed first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has worked as a Unemployed like his mother before him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Unemployed responsibilities is difficult; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Painter born in the past three hundred years. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.

History: He was born in the south. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Painter. He has worked as a Painter like his father before him.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: She has the majority of her body covered in plate, and she perpetually has her trident ready. She has a long brown ponytail with little hanging trinkets. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: Engong was born the youngest of three triplets. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Engong has worked very hard to control her curse. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and wants to raise her children well

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her parents enrolled her in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that she could practice her divine talents. She now mingles about in high society.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. After a long history of fighting, Bilga and her spouse have recently divorced.

Description: He is a pot bellied southern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He wears silk and lounges about seductively. He has wavy blonde hair. His green eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Hugh wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and he's repulsed by the pc

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He tends to his Painter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
