Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. The war was a terrible time for him, and Heian does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cartwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Tanner. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is an amazing painter.

History: Gardain lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
