History: Ilanis was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Server arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered music. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Valanthe fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Miller.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and to get a good night's sleep
