Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she wears many layers of old clothing at all times. She has no hair. Her gray eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Malquis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Malquis. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. His childhood dream was to be a Mercenary, but he was a colossal failure. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 6 years.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Chem's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Chem and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Halfling companion (her 'brother'). She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: He is mildly Gnome supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Healer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Healer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
