History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gerald is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Gerald was born the youngest of three triplets. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. During her travels, Flame and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Flame discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Flame fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.
