Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are copper.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Bookbinder born in the past three hundred years. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Bookbinder arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Mercenary but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He struck the Mercenary job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Mercenary responsibilities is difficult.

Description: An imposing woman with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left leg, she wears brown leather gloves, a brown jacket, and tight pants. She wears a colorful flower in her golden hair. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She's also a talented Bather, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to end her boredom

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough.
