History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the east were limited. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and a deep hatred of goblins

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Umpen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Many orcs want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Ea and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
