History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.
