Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 7 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Ovak never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.
