The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered goblins who tried to eat his hand. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Sapply was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.

History: Shamil was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Shamil took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up scythe and armor she uses now. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
