When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Fletcher hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: Kaladan was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Gesrethe was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Slave Trader work with an outfit from a few towns over. Slave Trader work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She tends to her Slave Trader job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Quelenna alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Engraver arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her childhood dream was to be a Unemployed, but she was a colossal failure. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 14 years.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Rûkdûg took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up scimitar and armor he uses now. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Rûkdûg fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Dragonborn companion (her 'brother'). She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Gurdis was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Gurdis was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the gnolls.
