He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He tends to his Apothecary job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Through the years after Sarah was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Sarah's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
