Through the years after Dain was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Dain's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 11 years.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Umpen has worked very hard to control his curse. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by orcs. Shanairla was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the orcs.
