History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He found a children's book about a Dwarf Aristocrat who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Her parents enrolled her in a Warrior school at a young age so that she could practice her arcane talents. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Gifted from a young age, Kava studied abroad. She took after her father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her father taught her to defend herself. When her father died while fighting illithids, the young Kava began to lead the lost caravan. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Kava was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: She wants revenge against illithids; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: Mozikth wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Adept, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Navigator profession.

History: Mardred lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Mardred was born on a far eastern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Assassin. She's also a talented Navigator, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes illithids are coming to abduct people. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and she wants revenge against illithids

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Keyleth grew up listening to her father's many stories. Through the years after Keyleth was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Keyleth's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She takes great joy in being the best Junk Dealer in town.

History: Jaxi hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
