History: Born in the east to a Shoemaker, Juliana learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She became a Shoemaker soon after.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Gardain was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Gardain hails from a village terrorized by drow. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
