History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the south were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and a strong sense of loyalty to dragonborn people

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Some 6 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Vani never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.
