History: She was born in a small island village. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Some 8 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Ielenia never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and wants to work out more often

History: Born in the east to a Bather, Tethren learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bather. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Cook they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Bather, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and balancing his hectic life and new bather responsibilities is difficult

History: Frouse lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has worked as a Brewer like his father before him.
