History: Bertram was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Painter work with an outfit from a few towns over. History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Beloril was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Beloril and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She is a sleazy, sleazy gal. She has no qualms about using her powers of suggestion to get people to do what she wants. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

History: Oriff was born the youngest of three triplets. Her first spouse was a Knight, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
