History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Mardnab's homeland. Mardnab decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. In her 13th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She bought a greatsword and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.
