History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Nija was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Crown-heir work with an outfit from a few towns over. Crown-heir work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has worked as a Crown-heir like his father before him.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Born in the west to a Brewer, Orsik learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Brewer. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ur-Edin grew up listening to his father's many stories. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Ur-Edin has worked very hard to control his curse. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
