History: Born in the north to a Roofer, Hecat learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. In her 17th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Masseuse arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Masseuse. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 10 years.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and someone believes him a fraud

Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
