Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. The war was a terrible time for him, and Ûshbaka does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Carter. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Shanairla lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She's also a talented Performer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the east; and balancing her hectic life and new armorer responsibilities is difficult

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

History: Born to a Marshal, her mother struggled to pay the bills. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. After a long history of fighting, Xanaphia and her spouse have recently divorced.
