History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Korinn and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is a Soapmaker first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Odo hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now owns his own business.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. Through the years after Smoking was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Smoking's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born in the east to a Merchant, Keyleth learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She tends to her Merchant job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
