History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. His first spouse was a Herbalist, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He is bald on top and has large auburn tufts of hair around his ears. His eyes are likewise violet.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. Varg is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: The child of a Hunter, who enjoyed hunting, Varg was taken on many hunting expeditions. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and doesn't want to be a cartwright and was forced into it by his family

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and to end his boredom

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Painter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born to a Shipwright, his father struggled to pay the bills. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
